Recently, I spoke with Women on Course founder Donna Hoffman about her organization, its successes in recruiting women to take up and keep up with the game, and how her work could be applicable to both genders.

Love your blog!!
I once had a golf student whose hubby gave her a set of clubs and beautiful new bag for Christmas. She told him, “If there is not a black velvet box some where in that bag, you are a dead man!” Ha!
Turns out that years later, she actually learned to LOVE the game! I learned because my first husband played and I also became way more passionate about it than he ever was!
Thanks also for interviewing Donna for WomenonCourse.com. I played in my first WOC event last week and it was great. I haven’t had such a good time at a golf event in years.
The Nine and Wine format is a stroke of genius. We played a nine hole scramble and then enjoyed a wonderful selection of wine and snacks on a sun dappled veranda. Okay, I know that is a bit much, but it was so fun!
I hope you will come on over to Golf in Love, I love helping beginners feel great about themselves on the golf course!
Cheers!
